Thanks Uncle John ! for your kind comment! yes im happy how it came out , the paint job took some time ,i did 6 layers of clear coat ,and 3 collor coats, these lace pick ups are splended ! i keep lots , i like to play them atleast a while ,before they go ! I know what you mean about Ford, i love the old one's because of comedy Capers the silent Movies from when i was a child, but the person ford i do not like he was in the friends circle of the world mass murderer Adolf Hitler . and believe that was a bad move on his behalf ! But the Cars are Iconic "Mustang" the other famous brands of the USA are not availeble for us europeans, but im no AGP # yet !!
Andries, this one looks fantastic! That hubcap was too small to as a three or four string. You did it just right and everything about it looks right. And that pickup was good to use here and I bet it sounds great.
I am curious or nosy-- how many home mades have you kept for your own? This one sure looks like a keeper.
A couple of Americanisms about FORD cars and trucks. The people who like other brands say FORD stands for Fix Or Repair Dally and Found On Road Dead.
I happen to be a Ford truck and SUV fan, but those sayings are still funny.
