  Thanks Uncle. I’m not sure who the punk rocker is but he’s vicious. I hope these attempts at portraiture are forgiven. I sketched from pictures that had “Battle” action. And diversity. It’s been a fun adventure and will lead to slide art and some guitar tops in my future. And bowls and mugs.

  i’ve been Imagining the sound this battle would produce. I promise, nobody was injured in the making of this artwork.

  The more I look, the more I like.  Washboard man, young girl fiddler,  ex-con on electric in the front row- gee, I hope that is not Dave's friend, brother in-law or 2nd cousin.   Aww, Granny Jones on squeeze box, jug puffers.   And yes, the hands the picking and chording fingers.  You even have a lefty player in there, he reminds me of someone...   Timi or Dini, or??

  Lots of guitar finger positions too Uncle. I’m pooped but happy. It should print good. Ink line drawing is the most reproduceable kind of illustration. It reduces well too. Thanks Uncle. I like Old Ned a lot.
