Back again. That finger board somehow looks better, good even! Sorry it I liked the rest so much - it took me a while to 'acquire' a taste for the fingerboard.
Bill, love the body and the black and oak tones. And the head stock. To me, the fretboard looks barren- too plain. Maybe some frets cut in at the crucial points and .... ? Man it's cool as is, but seems a short distance from major cool.
Thanks, Tom. I designed the tailpiece and have them 3D printed. There is a piezo rod pick up under the brass rod that plugs into the strap button jack. The strings thread through an aluminum "L" that I mount beneath the tailpiece.
