Padauk neck with maple sides and walnut heal. Cherry ears on headstock. I like the contrasting wood colors plus little cut-offs from other builds get used.

Still no sound hole Matt. I've got two craft shows coming up soon and if I still have it afterwards I may reconsider but I'm leaning towards leaving as is.
did you leave it without a sound hole? I am planning on building myself one this week end and am wondering if I need one. If not I will not bother it will give me more time to play around with the neck.
