Did you steam the wood to bend this into a loop (round) shape? Or, is it something you found that you are adapting to be your banjo body? I've been wanting to do a banjo, but the round body shape seems too difficult. Would like to learn how to make one. Also, I have been looking at your mountain dulcimer photos. I'm planning to do one of those, except the sides I plan to dry bend into a shape that's roughly oval (maybe teardrop?). I expect to build that instrument next. Well. I enjoyed your photos. Keep them coming.

Sorry it took so long to get back to your question.
