I added some barbed wire on the drum head.I draw this on with pencil first then trace it with a bic ball point pen then use a wet towel to clean off the pencil marks. The BIC pen stays on there pretty much permanent.

    really cool art work,adds so much to a plain looking banjo head.you could make good money if you did that to a bunch of heads and resold them with the artwork. different designs,different prices,art work always makes an instrument much more appealing.its because it covers two of the six senses, sight and hearing. you hear what i,m seeing old lowe? your artistic talents really do amaze me often.
