I am gluing the back on the Dulcimer today. I bookmatched the 2 pieces of Spruce a couple of days ago, laid it all out, and glued a narrow strip of Spruce down the seam on the inside for strength. Then I made up a Spruce cross-brace that is slotted out to fit over the strip of wood. It was necessary to force the sides apart ever so slightly, because I'm working around all the knots in the Spruce. Should have a better picture tomorrow! It should hopefully end up nice and straight! Don't mind the knots as natural soundholes, but I try to avoid them lining up with the sides as much as possible
