The photo of the flag was applied to a wooden disc and attached to an aluminum plate (its original purpose is unknown) and paired with drawer hardware.The flag disc photo was taken by Rudy DeRam. His choice of photo drove the theme of this build.

My friend Rudy, the photographer, uses a photo transfer method where he paints an emulsion onto the wood and prints the image to a carrier. Then he lays the image into the emulsion.
