I built this to have something to do between shooting lacquer on 3 guitars I was building. It is the top of a wood box from Michaels and some junk I had laying around. Took a couple of hours to finish and start playing. The build really entertained the people that were over...they thought I's lost my mind, that changed when it got tuned up (-;

Yes those are P-bass pups. Some are wired as a single HB and some are split as 2 singles and HB in the center position on a three way switch. The pin-up is a decal I got a few years back on EvilBay...it just seemed to rest easy right there. That box is gone sadly, gave it to an old friend to cheer her up. Been thinking lately of making another 3 string though.
