Yes, Uncle John, it has side markers for the frets (they show in one of the other pictures). I like the sound of the soap bar and it was easy to mount. I cut the hole in the box lid, marked the neck and notched it for the pup and drilled the attach screw holes, they are spaced narrow enough that the neck didn't even need wings for them. Of all the pickups I've used (other than piezos) it was the easiest install that I have done.

Thanks Maddog. You have been an inspiration to me with your builds. Wish I had a railing on the river to use for my pictures.
Beautiful Thomas!
The whole git just flows, well thought out my Friend!
I got mine from Gitty. Always have had good service from Ben and his prices are good.
I like the wood too. Thanks for the info.
Some day when I want to clean up my act and feel like spending a bit, I may get a soap bar. My arms are short and my pockets are deep.

Really like the natural wood look to this build.
Clean and handsome, Duck. Just like the builder. A lot to like.
Does it have side fret markers? How do you like the soap bar and how easy or hard was it to mount so nicely?
