This little Ashton box gave me a few problems fitting in all the components from a butchered £10 mini amp. As the box was rather shallow, the circuit board with the pots in situ wouldn't allow the lid to close, so I had to remove the knobs from the circuit board and solder them onto wires to fit them. As an electronics idiot, and poor wielder of the soldering iron, this was all rather scary. I would have liked to have the on/off/overdrive switch on the inside, but it was just far too difficult to move. So, that's the knob you can see on the outside under the clasp. This is going to accompany an Ashton CBG that I'm making for a friend...if I manage to finish it for Christmas.
