Doug, if you use a factory neck, it is crucial that it be set up so the 12th fret is the exact same distance from either the nut or saddle. How many frets to the body is going to vary with boxes and necks.
Very good looking. It is probably the perspective of the photo throwing things off, but just a reminder. The 12th fret needs to be in the exact middle between the nut and the saddle.
