One last dry fit of the major components before gluing it all together. I've deceided to keep an antique look to the finish. The sound hole has some brass screen from an old hydraulic filter covering it.

Me too. The only reason I never use single soundholes is because I don't care to see the neck running right through the middle. I never thought of putting a screen in there.
