AGP #9 - ''Bundy Bear''

Reposting of an old build, Rum Keg Can with a C.B.Gitty 2.5W Cigar Box Amp Kit fitted, just plugged it in for the first time in a couple of yrs and sounds a bit louder than when first built, (I'm a bit on the deaf side maybe my hearing has improved!) Keg dimensions are: 7" wide x 10" high.

  • Jim Morris, I think the Bundy Rum Keg was a special promo type thing from a few years ago, along with a 5ltr Jim Beam Keg, unfortunately didn't get my hands on one those at the time, and unfortunately both are no longer available :-(

  • Nice AGP! I need to find a USA distributor.

  • "Thanks Wes", Yep!, the Bundy Boys are still up there amongst my favourite builds!!!

  • "Thanks Dave", I agree things get louder when you drink one of those, even more so when you consider I made builds out of 3 of those Kegs, but have to admit, I did have a bit of help from one of sons in disposing of the contents :-)

  • Thanks AGP, I will take a look.

  • Looks cool AGP. It gets louder when you drink one of those. Then silence...
  • Sorry! David Bowes, but I done this Amp over 3yrs ago, and don't remember how I cut top out, just looking at it now and pretty sure I didn't use a can opener, I think? I may have used an old wood chisel, but not sure ?.

Have done  a few CBG type Keg Builds, if you type in The Bundy Boys in the search box top right of the screen it should take you to a pic of them, they are numbered and again  if you type in AGP# followed by the corresponding number, that should take you the individual builds on my page, which should have a brief description of each build, failing that and if you have any particular question in mind, please feel free to ask, what I can tell you is that they do make pretty damn fine Guitars, not being a great fan of Piezo's all have Magnetic Pickups.

How did you cut such a neat hole in the top? Got quite a few beer barrels like this and was thinking of something similar, any tips would be useful.
