AGP #508 – “Bullfrog Blues”3 String Fretless Recycled Relict Guitar660.4mm / 26 inchesStrings : .044NW/.028NW/.020NW/Tuned: G D gThe Box Body is made from a Pine Pallet which came with a new shed I recently erected to house and store more CBG Builds, the Neck is Recycled Pine Decking, the Fretboard is Recycled Pine from an old Bed Base, the through Box Neck Heel, Headstock Wings Output Jack & Vol Tone Plates are Recycled European Beech from an old Chaise Lounge Sofa, all Timber was given a dose of a 50/50 Linseed Oil and Turps mixture.All Pyrography was done buy yours truly, and an 11.2k Dual Rail Humbucker is hardwired through Vol & Tone Pots to the Output Jack. :-)

  • "Thanks UJ", there was always going to be a Frog Playing a CBG Build ever since I first seen the drawing a few years back, decided to do a "Bullfrog Blues" version because of that particular song, covered by many, my fave version is by Rory Gallagher, not sure what size the Swampies were, but this one is my standard build my own sized Box; 12" x 8" x 3"  :-)

  • My-tee fine playing with fire on this one, Alan.  I like the bullfrog burning and the whole thing.  Somehow it reminds me a bit of a Swampy too - maybe in the wood tone and the proportions.   Very cool.
