Tuned: E B eThe Timber Bowl, consisting of 7 different Woods, was made sometime between 1949-1992, in Whanganui New Zealand, by a company called Sovereign Woodworkers LTD, I found it in a Charity Shop for a few bucks.The Neck is Radiata Pine, the Fretboard and Headstock Wings are Merbau, with 3 coats of Feast and Watson French Polish applied, a 2.3k MGB Single Coil Micro Pup is hiding under some Copper Shield Tape, and is hardwired to the Output Jack. :-)

Yep!, the middle string through the screw eye is a regular thing on most of my builds these days, and the Nut is a piece of 6mm hexagonal mild steel, from a heap of long lengths I have, that came from the "Trusty Old Recycled Piano", but I can't remember what purpose they were used for in the construction of said Piano. :-)
