AGP #413 - “$2.20 Scruffy”1 String Fretless Cigar Box Diddley BowScale: 587mm/23⅛ inches. String: .036NW. Tuned C.Another Mystery Cedar Cigar Box from unsure origins, the Neck is recycled Meranti, the Fretboard is recycled Pine, a Piano Tuner Pin was used for the Machine Head, and the .7k Pickup is one of those Wall Wart/Power Adaptors, that was sort of popular a few years back, as the name suggests, no expense was spared in the construction of this Scruffy Little Critter, if nothing else it was an exercise to prove, that you don’t have to spend a lot of money, or make them a thing of beauty, to make a noise.:-D

"Thanks Dave", the top of the Headstock is "au-natural", this originally came from a very long piece of round 2" diameter timber, that was part of a large garden umbrella, someone discarded, the other half of this neck, which I cut lengthways, was used in a previous build, AGP #375, but I guess the other section of the rugged top, was cut off when I added a mitred headstock, as per the Pic below. :-)
