AGP #402 “Mount Gay”3 String Fretless Rum Box GuitarScale 654mm / 25¾ inchesStrings 44NW/30NW/20NW/Tuned G D gThe main timber body is leftover scrap bits of Plywood, and the Cardboard Rum Box just slides up and surrounds it, as the cardboard was a bit on the thin side, I applied a few coats of Clear Gloss Enamel Spray Paint, which not only strengthened it, but also enhanced the overall look of the Rum Box.The Neck and Fretboard are recycled Grey Ironbark, coated with, firstly Black Enamel Spray Paint, and then a light misty spray of Hammered Copper Spray Paint, as was the 9.5k Dual Rail Humbucker, which is hardwired to the Output Jack. :-)

  • Thanks 'UJ', :-), the Hardtail Bridge was marketed as Red Bronze, and the Machine Heads as Vintage Copper, while the Machine Heads are still widely available, I'm having trouble sourcing more of these colour Hardtail Bridges at the moment.  :-{

  • That has a really nice look to it. Great looking box and that hard tail is a really nice complement to the black. I don't recall seeing a hard tail that color.
