AGP #380 - “La Aroma De Cuba”3 String Fretless Baritone Cigar Box GuitarScale: 762mm/30inchesStrings:.050NW/.034NW/.024NW/Tuned: D / A / d /On the rare occasion I can find a decent size Box at a decent price, I do build an actual “Cigar Box Guitar”, picked up this lovely 280mm/11” x 170mm/6⅝” x 50mm/2” Box from a New Year’s sale by a local CBG parts supplier for $24.95Aud, which is cheap by Aussie standards. The Neck is White Mahogany, the Fretboard is Western Red Cedar, both coated with Organoil Natural Wax & Polish and an 11.4k Dual Rail Humbucker is wired through Vol & Tone Pots to the Output Jack.:-)

  • The Rugby League Footy Season has just started, and as usual, the Beer intake increases somewhat, 1 game Thu night, 2 games last night, and 3 games this arvo, which will test me out!, usually leave the Rum to the colder months of Winter, but still Warm, Wet and Humid up here at the moment!  :-D

  • Pussers Rule . I’m on my 3rd beer ish followed by 3 fingers of Rum chaser ....

  • "Thanks UJ and James O", I totally agree, a lovely looking Cigar Box, I use the Australian Navy White Ensign as backdrop to get a better picture of the Timbers used etc., which some times can be hidden by the dark timber bench I prop them up on!, also the Flag also has a certain nostalgic meaning to me (and Bones!)  :-)

  • "Thanks Bones", nothing better than the old White Ensign and a bit of Pirate Skull and Crossbones to remind us of what we both done in a former life!  :-)

  • That's a good looking Guitar AGP# fine job love that cigar box you used looks great

  • Mr. Payton that is a colorful beauty and it sure looks nice against the back drop of the Australian flag.

  • Oh I do love to see the skull n crossbones with the jack tar flag behind great touch .
