"Thanks UJ", Yep!, there was bit of work with the Jigsaw and Sander for the shaping, finished it late yesterday, will post Pics later today, when I sort them all out :-)
Jeff 'Bones' Reilly, sounds like a worthwhile project, good luck with the restoration, keep your head down and your arse up, you look like you have a bit of work ahead of you :-)
That is a lot of nice work, lamination, and shaping. And time. I think it is going to be some kind of guitar. I really don't know where you are headed and I am curious to see. Work faster, make photos and don't screw up.
Alas no cbg AGP we own Old timber place on a nice 30 ace of forest with a great beach on other side I'm milling timber for feature floors the house is 125 years old and I'm bringing it back to its former glory 8 rooms all polished floors
"Thanks Dave", most of the pics of MGB builds I've seen don't have Sound Holes, any thoughts on whether or not they would make any difference ??, I know yours sounds just fine with out them :-)
Cool work AGP. The MGB boxes show the way to do it yourself. Great prototypes to use as models. Two 2x8s would do the trick in USA. I’d cut mine out on my band saw. I like MGB Box Buckers too. I like your cover plate.
Oh a Bonus build .... Eyes down for a full house then ... I'll be in shed on weekend I've gone back to work dropping trees milling up some nice Sasafras n Black woods lot of the big eugs have up n died after the long spell with out good rain .... All I hear is my husky on full noise .
