AGP #339 - “AGP’s Big Bum” - Scale : 660.4mm/26”Tuning: GDg - Strings : .044NW/.028NW/.020NW/Obviously a take-off, of the recent lovely Dave Lynas MGB Big Bottom build, and as much as I admire the MGB Big Bottom Kit, I couldn’t bring myself to pay an estimated $100AUD to buy and get delivered to my home in the Land Down Under, so instead built my own from my free supply of recycled 16mm Plywood for the Centre Rings and purchased 2.7mm Plywood Top and Bottom for the princely sum of $2.67AUD,the body has been coated with an Oak Stain and a Clear Gloss Acrylic, the Decals all came from different purchases from different suppliers over the last few years.A MGB Mini Box Bucker Pickup 4.0 | 3/4 String is hardwired to the Jack, and the Pickup Cover was an AGP-DIY project. The Neck is recycled Forest Redgum coated with “Gilly’s Restoring Wax”Love the sound of this Pup & Build, “Thanks for the inspiration Dave L”, but I wasn’t confident enough to have a go at the Sunburst finish :-)

I like your neck and headstock AGP. And I like the back better than the lid.
