AGP #333 - “Bones”(3 String Cigar Box Guitar)Scale : 571mm / 22½inchesStrings : .036NW / .021NW / .017PS /Tuning : / B / F# / b /This Build was obviously inspired by my fellow Aussie Mate and ex Sailor Jeff ‘Bones’ Reilly from the “State Down Under” in the “Land Down Under”, so no prizes for guessing who it was named after, and of course the Neck is Tasmanian Oak, which was given a coat of 50/50 Linseed Oil & Turps, a 3 Pole Delta Type Pickup is hardwire to the Jack, the box is another one that has sat in the shed for years, and had not been used because of my mistaken belief that they were too small, but!, this one and #331, are a “Fair Dinkum Hoot” to play. :-D

"Thanks UJ", I usually have enough trouble getting the Neck centred on my normal builds, so had to think a little bit out of "The Box", when doing the offset, I was originally going for a different, fancier Headstock, but my Scroll Saw croaked last week, and now awaiting the delivery of a new one, so opted for what I call my "Easy to Do" headstock!, which will now be called the "Paddle Design" :-D
Gees, man. This is what happens when you drink beer and build. You got the neck wayyy out of center! Love that paddle headstock. I would love to sample this one with you.
