AGP #320 - “Tiger Territory”(3 String Tin Sign Guitar)Scale : 609mm / 24inchesStrings : .046NW / .030NW / .020NW /Tuning: G / D / g /Had a few Pain in the Butt moments with this particular Tin Sign in that, the metal was very thin and it had a Convex Top, rather than put some sort of timber sound posts in to support it, I used these springs which I had been removing from an Inhaler Medication I take, with no idea of what I was going to use them for, I did have to cut them in half to push the Tin Sign down, had no idea if it was going to work or how it would affect the Tone/Sound etc., but suffice to say, I think they have given it a slight “Boing” effect! :-D

Thanks Stormin!, have done a few builds in the past using different types of springs but not sandwiched between the neck & the sound board, have an ongoing supply of theses stainless steel springs, these ones shortened with vice and Dremel cutting disc, and will now do more builds using this method in the future, probably with wooden soundboards instead metal :-D
