AGP #270 - “Zwart Arnie”(3 String Biscuit Tin Guitar)Scale : 558.8mm / 22 inchesStrings : .036NW / .022NW / .017NW /Tuning: C / G / c /I have about a dozen or more of yet to use Arnott’s Biscuit Tins, but fell in love with this little beauty when spotted in a local Charity Shop, also fell in love with the $0.50 price tag!.The Tin is virtually just the outer shell for a 50mm/2” solid Treated Pine body, which fills the interior, (meant to take a pic but! forgot & closed it before doing so), the Pickup was originally fitted directly under the lid in an effort to maintain the look of the Arnott’s design motif, but when played, it Screeched! Squawked! Screamed! and sounded like Shite!, so cut the unwanted Pickup Hole, result: problem fixed, the “Golden Teak” stained Neck is Poplar, the Fretboard is pressed Vine Pattern White Oak, and it, along with the Headstock and Tailpiece were given the Pyrographic Pen Treatment, a 12k Open Humbucker is hardwired directly to the Jack. This is the second 22” build I’ve done in the last few weeks, the first tuned to open G, this one open C, and in ‘my opinion’ have a lot going for them ie; ease of playing and they sound great!

Thanks for looking at a few of my older builds 'Bones', I don't eat too many Bickies these days, but when I do they're always "Arnotts", and I can't walk past one their Tins without buying it, when I see them in the Op Shops etc; so I still have a few in the shed waiting to be used :-)
"Thanks" Gary W aka Rev. Bluejeans, wes carl & Erasmo Coco, Erasmo a more fitting new name should probably be "Pyro Maniac", enjoying the new Pyro work, but as yet to try the "Arty Farty" stuff <;-)
