"Thanks Uncle John", a bit of a "Mish Mash" experimental build 'UJ', mainly to try a few different ideas 1: on how to achieve a relic/aged type finish (on the box, but couldn't bring myself to do anything on the lovely Merbau neck), and 2: to see how best to use one of the 3 Brass Cymbals I acquired.
Well, see, Dave and Wes like it. On early looks, I did NOT like it. But I felt a strong urge to try playing it. Finally, looking at the shot on the left. I do like it. It's growing on me. It's kind the classic headstock, pretty woods, swampwitch/Crazy Aussie feeling.
