  • "Thanks Again" Dave for your ideas, thoughts and info on bowl builds !!

  • Thick is good APG. You're thinking if gourds perhaps. They are ultra light. Real banjos have thick wood pots. They are very heavy. Big old dough bowls are nice and thick. Deep ones are a good shape to take the neck. Some are just two inches tall. I like three and a half high and nine to twelve wide.
  • "Thanks"  Dave Lynas, I did first think about a Tack Head build, but for some reason thought the thing was too thick for a Banjo Type build????

  • No I don't feel bad  the anonymous pick, when I first saw the word Kendai I got excited because it sounded something like the only Japanese words I know; Asahi, Sapporo, Kirin, Suntory and Orion, which are all Beer Brands!!!!!306539377?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • don't feel  bad.  i  had  no  idea  either ,  i thought   Kinodai was an immortal  china-man. :-)

  • Wow AGP, Sound holes already for you. NICE! Thick too if you wanted to tack on a head. Looks fun!

  • Good job!

  • "Thanks"  Uncle John, not sure about its Chicken Fat Demulsifying capabilities, tried it on as a hat but!, it was too large even for my big Boofhead, HOWEVER!!, it does have Beer Syphoning capabilities (as the picture shows), last night it syphoned all the Beer out these bottles into a large object (me!). ;-)

  • "Thanks" Gary Davis, my first intention was to use it as a Tack Head Banjo, but decided it would make a better CBG type build.

  • "Thanks"  the anonymous pick & Maddog, I had never heard of the word "Kinodai", a big statement coming from one of the worlds biggest (self confessed) "Know it Alls", had to Google it !!!!!
