AGP #226 - “Kinodai’’(4 String Kinodai Guitar)Scale: 609mm / 24 inchesStrings : .0.50NW / .038NW / .028NW / 0.18NW /Tuning: E / B / E / G# /The Bowl (I now know)is a Kinodai Tablet/Smartphone Dock, ( not a Harley Air Cleaner as suggested by ‘the anonymous pick’ ;-)Lol), made in Japan from recycled Hinoki wood. *From Wikipedia - “Chamaecyparis obtuse” - Japanese Cypress, Hinoki Cypress or Hinoki.The Neck is of an unknown timber, acquired! by my son when working in a furniture factory some years ago, a hardwood of some sort, good to work with, and has a distinct aroma when cutting or sawing that I recall from somewhere, but can’t put a finger on it?, and the Fretboard of course is Vine patterned White Oak, to try and retain the lovely pale white colour of the timbers, I sprayed it with Acrylic (Non Yellowing) Gloss, which when used, immediately “Yellowed” the wood.Ebony Piano Key Nut & Bridge, a 6.7k Tele type neck Pickup is hardwired to the Jack.Originally used the above string gauges with the intention of tuning to DGDG, but sounded really crappy, I thought it should have worked, but didn’t, maybe because of the short 24” scale???, I have been, and am still experimenting with different tunings, and at the moment is tuned to open E.

"Thanks" Maddog, Yup! I agree, even though this is a "Sweet and Pretty" looking git, it really "Growls and Grumbles" on the "Dirty Distortion" settings !!!
