After seeing Frank Pace All’s recent Saw Blade Build, “Metatron”, on the “Fretless cigar Box Players-Builders & Players Group”, I was prompted to drag out one of my earlier “Saw Blade Builds from 5 years back, for a Remodel and Upgrade.The original builds specs and looks are as per the earlier Pic.The new specs are: AGP #219 - “Green Pot” - 3 String Fretless Resonator Saw Blade Guitar. Scale: 629mm/24¾ inches. Strings: .052NW/.036NW/.024NW/. Tuned EBe.A 6k Ceramic Magnet Single Coil Pickup is wired through a Vol Pot, Tone Pot and 3 Way Switch, a 35mm Piezo Disc, which is taped to the Saw Blade, is wired through a Vol Pot, both are wired through a 3 Way Switch and onto the Output Jack. :-)

"Thanks Bob", I always put the control knobs on the side of my builds where possible, it's easier to put them on the Top/Soundboard, but the big ham fists tend to knock them around a bit when placed there! :-D

Yep Poorness, I can probably see the likeness to a Gourd Banjo, I have done several home grown Gourd Builds over the years, but no Gourd Banjer's :-)
the construction kinda reminds me of a gourd banjo.
