AGP #184 - “Romper Stomper”(Stomp Box / Kick Drum)The Footprint on the top is an "Indigenous One".(I used turps to get the paint of the bottom of my foot)!!!My first stomp box build with a magnetic (Bass) pickup, wasn't sure how it would sound, but it sounds just fine through my Bass Amp, and also through an 80 watt powered Sony subwoofer, I picked up at a local charity shop as part of a six speaker 'Surround Sound System' for $10 total!!!The box is 18mm Pine Ply stained and coated with a Cabinet Makers Wax and the top is 0.55mm Galvabond.

Thanks ‘Wes’, I had never heard the term “Tar Heal”, but! I do now, (just looked it up on Wikipedia), there seems to be some conjecture about the origin of the term, but I guess every resident of North Carolina has their own ideas on how it originated,?????????????
Thanks 'Uncle John' & 'Bug', the Footprint was a last moment idea to personalise it.
I have a Piezo stomper as well, it like Romper Stomper is a flat thin build, there isn’t a lot of difference between the two, sound and volume wise, the main difference is that the Magnetic build cost about $29, and the Piezo build (which is made from thin Ply and Cork backed Masonite place mats) was $3.36.
According to the “Missus”, at the moment they are loud enough!, but I guess the sound and volume is controlled by how, and what you amplify them with, I still need to do a little homework on that side, maybe through a Pre-amp, or Mic etc.??????????

'Thanks Mad Dog'', much appreciated!
