AGP #164 - “Rusty Peanuts”(1 String Tin Diddley Bow)Scale : 609mm / 24inchesString : .020PSTuning : G/AA $10 cheap arse build."Like Myself!", this build looks "Rusty, Old, Battered & Cheap" but "Sounds Sweet!".The Neck is Forest Red Gum (mistakenly cut too short for a previous build), the Magnetic Pickup was hand wound by me, the "Golden Peanuts" tin was found at an outdoor markets fair, on one side of the tin is printed "3/- [Shillings] Deposit On Tin Refunded If Returned In Good Condition", I don't think that would apply to this Tin!), it has a couple of natural small sound holes (where the rust has eaten through the metal).

    A "Road Rocket" 'UJ', never heard of that one!, sounds awful, but no doubt I'll have to try one, usually the only time I drink Cola is when it has Rum or Bourbon added.

    Thanks for the comment 'Doc', It does sound sweet (to me!) It's the lightest string (.020 Plain Steel) I have put on a Diddley Bow type build.

    I just had a look at your Photo Collection, and you certainly have a lot of nice builds "Well Done!"

    I especially like the back of this one.  

    AGP there is a thing in the US called a road rocket.  Probably not the safest thing, but good and satisfying.   You get a cola and drink a few swigs.  Then you dump peanuts in the bottle and drive down the road sipping, chewing and making sure you don't choke.  Had one today!
