Yes! Uncle John, they are eye hooks holding the strings, first time I've used them, so far so good, the bridge has a ground wire sitting hard under it, leading to the output jack, I don't normally glue this type of bridge (threaded rod) unless they move, if they do I usually use a bit of hot glue, or sometimes grind the bottom of the rod flat.

Builder questions for you. Are those eye hook string 'holders'? Are they strong enough? When you do a saddle like that, do you super glue it in place?
