I am making a neck and headstock for the Ohio license plate guitar (finally!)I am not sure what type of wood it is, but it is nice and hard and heavy- it was an old shelf I salvaged out of the back lane last year. It could be Fir, there's a lot of it around here.I didn't have enough length to make a neck through design, so I'm making a smaller version of the Kapok acoustic neck with a heel and an Oak fretboard, but not making a scarf joint. Not going to use a truss rod unless I find something suitable...This one's going to be a 3 string I think
