Thanks William - The bars are string trees like you might see on a stratocaster or the like. They help apply more of a "break" from the nut so that the strings stay in place better and have a better tone.

I really like your details. The woodburning is very nice, as are the brass accents. What is the purpose of the brass bars across the strings?
