I'm working a new guit with a very small Punch box. Because of the small size I was thinking of doing a one or two stringer. Any suggestions on which strings to use?

Sold a guitar this morning. The buyer tuned and played it before leaving, it was the first time I have heard one of my builds played. I thought it sounded pretty good.

Was listening to "Front Porch" on XM radio to day and the dj played a song by Big Joe Williams. He said that Williams played a home made 9 (yes,9) string guitar. Does any have any knowlege of this man?

the "big dog is 11x20x3. The neck is solid maple. the fretboard is bolivian mahogany. the box is redwood frame with aromatic cedar for the soundboard and bottom,redwood bracing, and custom bridge and tailpiece.It is fretted at 26 inches. I haven't quite figured out what strings to use yet, but I think it needs some fat ones to bring out the tone.
