PapaSimone, mastodon ivory is the "bark" off of a woolly mammoth tusk. Like the elephants of today the tusk are Ivory. The Ivory is anywhere from 150,000 to 10,000 years old. Mastodon Ivory is still found in fairly large quantities in Siberia and Alaska.
