Mason jars are pretty tough... I used a glass/tile drill from Harbor Freight... just add water to keep it cool and the dust down... (don't breathe glass dust!)
Other than the fact that I would be afraid of breaking it, that is cool as heck. A jar full of major mojo. Neat idea. How did you drill the hole? Diamond tip bit?
