I thank you both for the comments...it was really hard to get 6 strings set up right on a cigar box. I would say 4 strings are just fine. Magnetic pickups would have been cool but to much box cutting. hardtail plus pickups would have sent the basic costs to around $200 (cost $100 between CBG and Lowes).
