it appears to play fine. I saw a can installed like this by another builder. The can pointing down went a little against my instincts but it allowed a full fret board and room to play it. I have nothing to compare it to as to what sounds better (I also can’t play it). I loaned it to a friend who plays guitar and should be able to give me in site into how it plays.
