  • That’s high praise Uncle John and I appreciate it! I was working on a violin style build and had already changed directions several times, the unplanned 57 Phillies find which was a result of our last minute visit to family in Idaho instead of Seattle had me stoked up to move my violin plan to the this box. It was a fun build as everything came together. I enjoyed playing it at the library this morning.

  • You and your super printer are turning out some great stuff.  I think this one is the topper, the best of your best.

  • Thanks Alan! I got around to this build sooner than I planned; I appreciate the inspiration of your violin builds. As for the bullet holes,  Since I have have no way to do it authentically, I manually placed them at random! I’m really liking bullet holes as they give max flexibility for placement and no alignment worries.

  • Nice turn of a phrase BrianQ! I am partial to the Beatle bass and decided it was time to have one that is also an authentic Cigar Box Guitar too. A win-win in my book.

  • That Beatle bass is bulletproof Doug!!! I’m pleasantly impressed,as always!!
