Actually this jack is supposed to be mounted the other direction (with the jack countersunk into the guitar) that's why it looks that way. I mount them this way when I don't have room to countersink them. Actually I kinda like the looks of it this way too. BTW, I have a brass one on order that I will swap out when I get it. It will match the other brass hardware instead of chrome.

Yes it is a Lowe Cone, I've had it for over a year and just got around to using it. And yes they sound very nice! I have builds using the aluminum, the brass, & now the copper. They all have different tones to them and I like them all for their unique voices. You will not regret using one!
That's a nice looking Reso, is that an Old Lowe cone? I just ordered one from him a couple of days ago, I've never built a resonator CB guitar, but from what I've seen on YouTube you can't beat the sound!

I don't know if it's because the jack socket looks like a jet exhaust, but this one looks like it can fly!
