I picked up 4 new boxes from a local tobacconist today. Grand total was $6.42. I told the owner at those prices I would make one for his store and he was very, very happy. He terms himself a "frustrated guitar player."

I just ordered a Uke kit from Grizzly. I'll throw away their body and use the rest on that Ashton box. It is about 7 1/2" square by 2 1/2" thick. I was contemplating a resonator cone for it, but I think it is too small for that.
That's the first Acid box I picked up. I'm not sure I would use that size for a guitar. It is very deep and very heavy. I think it will just replace my old, old Phillys Blunt cigar box that I use for a "junk box." Car keys, wallet, and other bits and pieces that would otherwise be loose on the counter top.
The shop owner is a super nice guy. I showed him pics of my 2 guitars and he wanted me to bring one in.
Nice score ED, I just found a new source the other day, a friend of a friend, cant beat our up north prices. Do you like those Acid box's? I have a bunch, would trade for simple A fuente's or Punch's.
