pick with a .068 cap on the pickup and it being under saddle its not a problem, I have played these through pa systems and they work not as good as a active preamp but for a 25cent passive system it titties and beer. this is straight up acoustic next one will be active so might be trouble.
Interesting , i'm wondering how the speaker will effect the rod piezo as it loops its own sound vibrations .. may make for some cool distortion .. but hopefully , not to the point of garbling it . this will be a fun one to the process of. ;-)
Yep John, no jack just the on/off volume knob and light below the bridge. Its a small box that's why the speaker is off set. Next one will be a big box with a 4 in. and multi distortion

I've always kind of wanted to do an onboard amp. Pretty fun.
