I mated the fret board and neck, placing the nut wraped in wax paper in the slot to get the spacing right and so it didn’t get stuck prematurely. The glue caused the fret board to slip a bit so I undid the clamps and repositioned it. I think I’m going to stop using the fast setting wood glue.
