  • I glue it with epoxy and then put 2 or 3 screws into the bridge between the holes for the strings through the box lid, with a long oval "washer" cut out of an empty vegetable can.  I position the bridge and mark for the holes on top and drill the top.  After I glue the bridge, I drill and screw from under the lid into the bridge using the long oval "washer" cut out of an empty vegetable can which is per-drilled to match the holes in the lid.  Gitty sells the little screws that I use.  They are similar to the screws used for sealed gear tuners.  The long oval washer is also epoxyed to the underside of the lid.

  • I like them and their names too.   I am going to do a uke soon.  How do you attach the saddle to the box?
