I like that you try to save the patina. Maddog is good at that.
On Sunday someone visited my neighbor and they had a preserved rusty patina on an old International picup, circa 1950 with a partially visible modern V8 and lots of chrome and tail lights, vertically 3 circles in a row. Maybe from a Caddy. So cool and more to my liking than a shiny restoration or custom.
Maybe the rat Roder will buy it Dennis? I always wanted a 36. :*)
Thanks Uncle John. It’s smaller than modern plates. Sturdy metal too. It has rust inhibitor on it. It’s like a bronze patina. It was rusty all over but the patina soaks into the rust and is very tough. I used it once on my old metal dock. It’s good.
