Thanks. The measuring stick, actually 48”, is not a hardwood. Other wise it would have stopped my mighty mite table saw dead in it’s tracks when cutting the fret slots. It loves soft yardstick wood and mahogany; I stay away from oak, walnut, and anything else like it. I have found yardsticks hold up fine and and are always a point of interest.
Ziggy good fret board and frets. I admire that string guide above the nut. I likely would have screwed that up big time and maybe drilled a finger. Neat.
Dave, probably not hard wood on yard stick. They tend to use shit-wood.

But my shit-wood, soft wood yard stick fret boards hold up purty good.
