uncle john, I also made a trapzoidal shaped neck for the fanned fret board, makes cording and playing a little easier. you can see more pics here.

uncle john, fanned frets are pretty easy. it creats 3 different scale lengths. attached is a link to an easy way to calculate them. http://www.ekips.org/tools/guitar/fretfind2d/

I do not understand fanned frets, but they sure look cool. Ms. Padauk is the girl of my dreams.

the one in the middle has a fanned fret board with a dual piezo bridge. i have other pics of it in one of my albums.
