Glad you like it. This is acoustic, and and the switch plate may look cool but it cuts the sound waaay down. And the supersize sound hole does not help, either. No problem with the hinge tailpiece so far, but this one does not get played very often. Good idea on the sideways plate for humbucker!
Switch plate is a unique touch. How is the hinge tail stock working out? You could actually put jack screws in the hinge and control the break over the saddle. I actually have a box that plays well but I have to keep renewing the saddles because the break angle is so steep that the small strings cut into the Stainless steel saddle. Also a sideways switch plate might allow another option to mount a humbucker. hmmm. Thanks for sharing. Nice build. Chuck
