  • Thanks for saying so Danny, appreciated!
Re sound holes: I know everyone has their own perspective on it. I think the most effective (and elegant) are small f holes, but like I said mine are built more like electric guitars, and are made to be played through an amp. I'm just not into the big sink strainer thing!
  • OK I think your right I'm going to stop making them I don't think they help in fact they probably reduce volume! Funnnn looking through all your guitars dude, they are some of the best ones I have seen and I looked at your shop I'm glad your getting decent money for them!

  • Also; wow, that's an old one!
  • Hey Danny. Yeah my policy is that I only do sound holes if the customer specifically asks for them. With an instrument of this size I consider them largely pointless. To my mind they are loud enough for quiet unplugged practice, but try jamming a CBG with sound holes with even a ¾ size acoustic and it just isn't happening. With mine, if you want volume, you have to plug it in :-)
  • So I rarely see sound holes on yours, Richey, sometimes.... What's your thinking on this? You just think kids like us are gonna plug them in anyway, or that it doesn't make it louder anyhow. (I saw there is a whole bunch of talk about this)
