Hello again.My newest build.4-string reso with single coil soap bar pickup.Sounds really mellow and deep when plugged in.Old walnut for neck and ash head.Done in vintage looking finish.Thanks for looking again.till next time,,,,,,,,

    I just used a simple piece of walnut put a chanel across side to side.Used a piece of copper tube and ran the strings through and the copper tube is just sitting there the strings hold it in place.

    Nice, nice job; the 'vintaging', the sound holes, the out of the way volume control and the beautiful neck and fret board.  Action looks good. 

     

    How did you make the tail piece?

    I painted it with flat black paint and then took it off with steel wool just in the right places until I got the look I wanted.Thanks for the kind words all.
